In an age where we can throw up 150 mini-houses on a single block, it’s nice to look back on a time when houses were more than investments. This vintage 1920s Spanish-style house retains much of its original builder’s visions including hardwood floors and a grand staircase (yes, like in Titanic). That builder was Amye Bozarth, a woman pioneering in a largely male-dominated industry. Her aim was to build homes, not just houses, that had a woman’s touch. If look through the pictures and Realor.com you will inevitably end up thinking that, “they don’t build them like they used to.” and you’d be right. Maybe, we can all participate in a future where houses are more than just houses.
