Bexar County Local Election Results Summary – November 5, 2024
This year was huge for voter turnout. Of the nearly 1.3 million registered voters in Bexar County, over 58%, a total of 759,397 turned out to vote.
Here’s a bare-bones summary of the Bexar County results:
County Offices
- Sheriff: Javier Salazar retained his role with 57.42% of the vote, defeating Nathan Buchanan (42.58%).
- County Tax Assessor-Collector: Albert Uresti ran unopposed, securing 100% of votes cast.
- County Commissioner, Precinct 1: Rebeca Clay-Flores won with 58.62% over Lina Prado (41.38%).
- County Commissioner, Precinct 3: Grant Moody prevailed with 55.22% against Susan Korbel (44.78%).
Justice of the Peace
- Precinct 2: Roberto “Robbie” Vazquez ran unopposed, winning 100% of the votes.
Constables
- Precinct 1: Ruben C. Tejeda ran unopposed.
- Precinct 2: Leticia Rodriguez Vazquez won with 61.86%, defeating Paul Alexander Canales (38.14%).
- Precinct 3: Mark Vojvodich ran unopposed.
- Precinct 4: Kathryn “Kat” Brown ran unopposed.
City of San Antonio Propositions
- Proposition A: Approved with 71.90% support.
- Proposition B: Passed with 68.21%.
- Proposition C: Approved with a close margin of 54.39%.
- Proposition D: Passed with 62.96%.
- Proposition E: Passed with 64.02%.
- Proposition F: Approved narrowly with 53.31%.

City of Converse
- City Council, Place 2: Deborah James won with 60.62% over Bradley Heinz (25.66%) and Ethel M. Willard (13.72%).
- City Council, Place 4: Sylvia Meyer led with 46.05%, defeating G.C. Saldana (25.13%) and Christopher L. Clark (28.82%).
- City Council, Place 6: Nancy Droneburg narrowly won with 51.39% against Marc Gilbert (48.61%).

- Approved with 65.55% in favor and 34.45% against.

- Mayor: Michael Martinez Jr. ran unopposed.

- Councilmember, Place 3: Greg Turner narrowly won with 44.20% against Rainbeau Presti (43.97%) and Robert Maloy (11.83%).

- Trustee, Place 4: David Santos Jr. won with 41.13%.
- Trustee, Place 6: Emiliano “Emilio” Carrasco ran unopposed.
- Proposition A: Defeated with 47.40% in favor and 52.60% against.
- Proposition B: Rejected with 44.38% for and 55.62% against.
- Proposition C: Defeated with 42.72% for and 57.28% against.

- Trustee, Place 4: Martha I. Castilla won with 60.51% over Dorothy Borjas.
- Trustee, Place 5: Rudy Lopez prevailed with 55.46%, defeating Jubilee Peña.
- Trustee, Place 7: Sergio L. Delgado Jr. won with 61.80% over Richard Santoyo.
Bexar County Water Control and Improvement District #10
- Director: Ann Marie Arnicar led with 47.13%, followed by Eddie R. Guerrero with 30.63% and Fernando Richards Jr. with 22.23%.
